Waylon's Story

A Childhood in Lafayette, Indiana, a College Adventure at Valparaiso University, a Growing experience in Indianapolis, a Misadventure in Minneapolis and a dream fulfilled in Chicago, IL lead to meeting someone who I can't imagine life without.  Bradley was one of the first people I ever dated that started with friendship.  Such a simple and cliche idea...building a friendship and then having your eyes opened down the road on what is in front of you.  I am looking forward to creating a new life full of adventure...and children!  Who knows our marriage/commitment Adventure will lead, but I am excited to have Bradley along for the ride.

Looking back on my life, it seems that I have lived through quite an adventure. I've moved all over the country, starting in Lincoln, NE, then to Troy, NY and San Diego, CA, eventually ending up in Chicago, IL. It has always been my gut decisions that lead me to my next adventure. After meeting Waylon on our, as we call it, "Best Platonic First Date Ever," my gut was there telling me he was someone I wanted in my life. It wasn't long after this that I've came to realize he would be the person always standing beside me.

There is no doubt in my mind that Waylon and I are now on the adventure of a life time, and I couldn't be happier. It's an elated feeling knowing that the person I'm about to say, "I do" to, is my best friend.​
